About Agar Malwa
Agar Malwa nasha mukti kendra is district in Madhya Pradesh, India, it was formed in 2013 by decreasing area of Shajapur District by removing Agar, Badod, Susner and Nalkheda tehsils from Shajapur, all these tehsils were combined together to form Agar Malwa District. It is located by the Indore—Kota SH-27 highway. At the time of India’s independence it was a cantonment region.
During the Sindhia state It was a division (some of their palaces are still presently used for city court and for other government offices). After Inependence of India it was a district under the state of Madhya Bharat until 1956. Since 16 August 2013 Agar Malwa has been the 51st district of Madhya Pradesh.
In the western part of the Agar Malwa is defined by the Agar Plateau that covers the major areas of Agar Malwa district. Hill region to the west of Badod, Scattered hillocks in a north-south. The presence of hills in the center has affected the drainage pattern. The height of hilly region varies between 500 metres (1,600 ft) and 545 metres (1,788 ft) above the mean sea level and slopes towards north.
Dudhaliya and Kachhol rivers originates from hills and flows to the west, Chhoti Kali Sindh is the main river of the region, flows northwards on the western border of the area.
